What it is
A web app that sits beside a company’s business system. A purchaser asks for an order in plain words, and later uploads or photographs the delivery note that arrives with the goods.
What it does
- Turns a typed request into a draft purchase order for a manager to approve
- Reads a delivery note (PDF, photo or scan, English or Arabic) and matches each line to the order
- Pre-fills the received quantities and flags shortages, extras and unknown items
- Keeps a history of every request, decision and change
- Separate roles for purchasers, managers and administrators
Where it stands
A working prototype that runs on mock data. It is not connected to a live business system. The picture shows a sample delivery note being checked.
How it is built
A Python web app with a plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript front end. Reading photographed notes uses Claude when a key is set, and a built-in reader for typed PDFs otherwise. Odoo is the first business system it is written to connect to.
